The Curious Cuttlefish's Quest for Clean Cuisine: Hi I'm Jenna, a Cellular Biology Major who recently discovered the joy of pure food. It’s been about a year since I first adopted the clean eating lifestyle and -70lbs +70 miles later I’m a much healthier, happier, food loving, daughter, sister and friend. I believe in eating food in the closest form to what God gave us. That means lots of fabulous fruits, vegetables and meats, eggs and dairy from happy animals (and TONS of spices). It also means no sugar but don’t worry, dates, honey and maple syrup are amazing substitutes. Plus there’s still plenty of chocolate…hence it being the first post ;) I also believe in fitness. Being able to move is amazing! Dance, walk, run, swim, crawl….whatever, just move (unless it involves twerking, then… just no). This blog will consist of mainly delicious recipes with the occasional thought provoking post and dash of science and a little bit of the journey that made me who I am today.
